I really loved this piece — the pace, visual style, and “cooking” of infusion of motifs appearing elsewhere (stepmother, rat swarms, Cinderella, etc.) into a unique form that stands on its own. (This mode reminds me of Angela Carter, Kelly Link, and Karen Russell.)

I’ll definitely hunt for more from this team!

I’m glad I stumbled onto this through whatever strange web voyage brought me here. I think I was actually looking Japanese woodblock prints of “water” initially. You see, I’m developing a tiny mini-comic of my own (from mostly a writer standpoint). Now, I have renewed inspiration for a scale of storytelling that will serve to make my piece better!
