Welcome to the 20th page of Kid Houdini and the Silver Dollar Misfits!

I have a lot going on and several deadlines to meet, so I’ll keep this short.

We thank you for taking the time to read our strip. We really do. I know that I am not the only one with an insanely-busy life, so the fact that you have chosen to take time out to read means a lot to me–to the whole team.

As always, comments are welcome. And please don’t forget to spread the word about our strip. If you enjoy it, tell a friend. Trust me: we will appreciate it immensely!

Almost the end of chapter one, eh? It seems like the comic just started and it’s already to the end of the first part. They grow up so fast! *blows nose*

A rat with green eyes? Is he evil or just that weird “night eyes” thing that cats have? Just curious. :) I like that the ‘twins’ have their own personality even though they share the same feet.

Another good week. See ya next Wednesday, and everyone have a happy Easter and pig out on chocolate! It’s the only way to keep the zombie rabbits at bay!

Thanks, BoD! I knew I was doing red in the punch scene, so wanted to give the rat a spooky look, tried brown, white, I use school bus yellow for Terra, so went with the radioactive green. A colorist I admired from the late 80’s, Glen Whitemore is the name my memory brings, but it might be spelled different or I missed a syllable in his last name, he colored Action Comics, and could use green to effect a story (page) better than any of his contemporaries. I try to get some green in my work, but am usually vetoed in the editorial process, but I’ve got some pages to go and there’s some cool mine scenes I might get some green in yet….
