Yay! New Misfits!
A giant snowstorm of death has fallen again, so I won’t be making it to my comic store today. At least this comic is new, though, so thank you for making my Wednesday a happy one!
Does Kid have some magic abilities beyond just being an escapist? I think it’d be funny if he was just using a glowing toy or something to light up the room and just says magic words to make everyone think he’s more powerful than he is. I’m just curious, is all. ;)
The art and colors are wonderful. I see that depicting the glow from open flames is no longer a challenge. The little touch of orange on the floor sells it, so nice job! I’ve told you that you have a ridiculously talented group of people that you’ve worked with in such a short time as a pro, Dwight, but I’ll say it again. I really hope that FCBD book gets a ton of young and older readers into this story.
See you all next Wednesday!

Thanks, BoD! It’s not a glowing ‘toy’, it’s a super-special-Silver-Dollar, a Talisman…not giving away more than that…Firelight’s a byatch, still, though, Worth helped me out in upcoming pages as to how the light is to be haloed by working it into his inks, but a lot of thought is put into the lighting and I really appreciate your well thought out comments! Until next week, (with some cool special effects in the 2nd and 3rd panels) tune in next Wednesday, same Kid time, same Kid channel!

Thanks for reading, Bathfrog! Glad we could brighten up your day.
As to the Kid having magic powers, you shall see. Kevin gave you a hint, but you’ll find out for certain on Wednesday. So join us and find out!
Once again, I thank you for reading and commenting. We all appreciate it very much.
