Kid Houdini and the Silver Dollar Misfits, Page 15

Welcome, welcome to the 15th installment of Kid Houdini and the Silver Dollar Misfits!

I’m your host… no? Well, fine. Be that way.

We thank you for joining us this week for another brand new page! We also appreciate you spreading the word. Hey, we’ve seen the numbers. Your help is definitely a huge factor–and we thank you for your assistance. We can’t possibly succeed on our own. It is you who make or break us, so we thank you sincerely for your support.

I apologize for cutting this short, but I am off to do some more homework. Yeah, me… the 37 year old guy. Doing homework. It’s just not natural, I tell you.

See you next week!

-Dwight L. MacPherson (with Worth Gowell and Kevin Conley)

Wow, did I miss a week? I just read one last night!

I really like this comic! :) When the characters start to have fun, it usually transfers back to the readers. I saw the cover for the Free Comic Book Day issue in Previews today, and I imagine that by May, you’ll have quite a fan following.

So when do we find out what the snake is named? ;)

Nope… you’re up to date. Updates are done every Wednesday.

Thank you, my friend! I’m really glad you’re enjoying it. Be sure to tell a friend or two. It really does help!

The snake was named by my 12 year-old son Clayton. Her name is… well, you’ll have to wait and find out. Mwahahaha!

Thanks for reading and commenting, buddy!

Whoops… I need some more caffeine! Harry just thanked the snake and her name is Terra! Yay!

Apparently so do I! I mixed up Lydia’s name with Terra’s. Oh well. I’ll definitely try to spread the word, too. See ya Wednesday!

See ya Wednesday!

Thanks for the comments, BoD! We missed you last week, you’d been pretty regular, and we appreciate any and all comments! The sequence transition from the last panel of 14, “…iiiiiin!”, to the first panel of page 15 is instant. They’re facing pages so it will play better in print, and the timing of the ‘in’-joke plays much better.
I finally got a chance to read Captain America #34, and Frank D’armata and I must have been on similar wavelengths when we did the color work for our background skies for our pages,(I thought so as I read that landmark issue)
Worth and I are a lot of pages beyond 15, working diligently to have the graphic novel in your hands by this Summer!

I’m really liking where this is going, Dwight! It’s got a real historical Scooby-doo vibe to it! Worth’s brushwork is stark and beautiful and Kevin–the coloring’s wonderful (especially the lamplight and the dust trail on this page)! Great job, guys! :)
