Oh yes, it’s back for another ’season’ - no Writers Strike can stop this baby! Well, mainly because it was written and published a couple of years ago. But that’s not the point! For the fact of the matter is that The Gloom is back!
And I know you’ve missed us. Well, the one of you who bothered to email us, at least. But that’s fine, children - we understand, and the beatings will only be given out to those that truly deserve them. Or look at us funny. Or, like, cry and stuff.
But the beatings are a loving beating, because we here at Castle Awesome love you. Especially you. We’d love you twice a night if the chloroform held out.
So, on to The Gloom season two Premiere! A special, three page showing so you get 50% extra, free! Just because we love you!
Except you. Yeah, you. We saw what you wrote. Go on, f*** off.
Anyway, on with the show!

Welcome to the 12th installment of Kid Houdini and the Silver Dollar Misfits!
This is my first week back to school and let me tell you… added to all my writing commitments, this is guaranteed to be my most fun semester yet! Dripping with sarcasm–isn’t it? Hahaha.
We thank you for joining us and please–if you enjoy the strip–tell people about it. We’d really like to get The Kid out to as many readers as possible before the Free Comic Book Day book hits. So your help is absolutely essential in accomplishing this.
In fact, we can’t do it without you.

Welcome to the 54th installment of The Surreal Adventures of Edgar Allan Poo!
We appreciate you joining us and hope you’ve enjoyed what you’ve seen. Please–if you are enjoying the strip–let someone know. We can use all the help we can get in spreading the word.
I start a new semester today so I’m going to post this beautiful new strip and turn in relative early. Heck, as busy as I’ve been lately, going to bed anytime before 3 AM is early to me. Hahaha.
Thanks for reading and we’ll see you next week!

THE CHEMISTRY SET is a collective of comic creators, exploring what happens when they throw their talents together in the cause of fresh, new, unexpected work. Sometimes we get beautiful synthesis. Sometimes we get explosions. But in every case, we get new comics, delivered every day by talented up-and-coming creators, including three Xeric Award winners.
Always free, and just for you.
Be part of the experiment here on THE CHEMISTRY SET.
