Kid Houdini and the Silver Dollar Misfits, Page 9

Whew. Another Christmas has come and gone. It was a wild and woolly one–let me tell you!
Thank you for joining us for the newest page of our ongoing adventure. As you can see, the mystery is beginning to unfurl before us. Join us next week as we find out more about Bea’s father and his unfortunate–well, you’ll see.
We hope you are enjoying our tale thus far. And, if you are, please tell others about Kid Houdini and the Chemistry Set.
That’s all I have time for this week, but we’ll see you next week with another page of Kid Houdini goodness.

Hello there, Kid watchers! …Hope your Holiday celebrances went merrily, and since there’s no new comics ’til Friday, enjoy a new page from us! My first attempt at effecting a b/w-Sepia tone page, and liked the way it ‘felt’ upon completion. The lavender dialogue boxes suggest the present and the flashback sequences receive the sepia treatment. The map, an important key to the unfolding mystery, remains colored warmly to pop off the page…
-We hope you enjoyed it, and tune in to the continuing case of the Mystery of the Lost Miner’s Gold, same Kid time, same Kid channel..

Great news on landing a publisher, guys! I’m always happy to see more all-ages stuff that stands out from not only the other all-ages books, but comic books in general!
My favorite little bit from the strips so far has been Houdini’s straightjacket escape. He’s still Houdini, but he takes longer to get out and is still learning the ropes. I’d love to learn more about the misfits, but since the comic is just getting started, I know that patience will pay off.
Keep up the good work!
