Kare-Kare Komiks: “The Legend of Caraboy”
Posted by AndrewDrilon on Wednesday, September 26 2007 at 12:07 pm
Welcome back to Kare-Kare Komiks!
Let’s continue with a black and white delicacy. It’s called “The Legend of Caraboy”, and it’s an all-ages meal with an adventurous dash of whimsy. Kain na!

I hope you enjoyed this latest entry on the menu.
Next Wednesday, we’ll have a juicy dish filled with sentiment, served cold. It’s called “Secret Heart”, and it’s sprinkled with an homage to a classic Filipino superheroine. Please stop by for another delicious read!
Maraming salamat!

Is there such a thing as a wild rice field? I would have thought that a rice field needs to have humans cultivating it to remain existent, otherwise the more hardy and opportunistic weeds would soon take over.

aravis — hi! actually, there are strains of wild rice that can grow in the Philippines and in other places in the world without succumbing to weeds and other wild flora.
of course, it could also mean that the holy rice field is just a wild, magical place a few steps displaced from logical reality. thanks for reading! ;)
