Two more pages to go! You can NOT miss the stunning conclusion of Chapter 3!
News Item - Wunderkind Tom Williams will be in yet another anthology! As announced this weekend, Tom will be contributing to LIFELIKE, written by Dara Naraghi. Join me in congratulating him! That makes TWO big anthologies Tom will be in this year! Someone is about to BLOW UP!
News Item - We (Tom and I) had announced a contest to see whether Wesley would live or die at the start of Chapter 3. Unfortunately, we didn’t get any votes…actually, we got one. So, Tom and I pretty much threw our own votes into the ring and we got the ending that you saw. However, we would be remiss in not mentioning JP VASQUEZ, who actually did vote (for Wesley to live, btw). So, JP, drop us an e-mail at vito@chemsetcomics.com and we’ll send you a STUCK Prize Package!
That’s all for this week…visit the Chemistry Set all week…come back for STUCK next Monday!

Congratulations to Chemsetter Tom Williams (Stuck), who was just announced as part of the line-up for the forthcoming anthology Lifelike for respected publisher IDW. In an article on Newsarama.com, publisher Chris Ryall describes the book as “a diverse collection of slice-of-life stories… and beyond. Each vignette presents a glimpse into a different corner of the world outside our window. From the sentimental to the shocking, the familiar to the unknown, it’s all here.”
The anthology OGN is written by Dara Naraghi, and Tom illustrates one of the stories. Look for it in stores December 2007.

Yep, that sexy fella in panel two DOES sorta resemble our #1 fan Dean Haspiel. If you don’t get the joke (or even if you do) click here. Trust me, you’ll like it.

The experimentation with format continues. I feel like I need to start standardizing elements like border, panel alignment, header, etc. etc. I just tried to read this chapter in one of the recap categories that Steven Goldman so kindly puts together and it made me dizzy. I’m not so sure that this format is truly more blog friendly. I have heard some good things from people who read the strip via email and their RSS. Let me know how you are reading this, and if the format works for or agianst it. dan@danielwarner.net

It’s official. Chemsetters Chris Arrant (1 Way Ticket) and Tom Williams (Stuck)have an 8 page story in the forthcoming second volume of Image Comics’ robot anthology 24Seven. The first teaser image from the OGN anthology came up in this week’s edition of Lying In The Gutters, which you can see here. (Scroll down 3/4).
It’s got a stellar list of talent, and some big honkin’ names. While Tom and I aren’t the marque names just yet, I’m kinda glad because now we have more room to surprise you. Here’s a sketch from Tom showing one of the characters, Bruce.

24Seven, Vol. 2 comes out this summer!
