Thanks guys!

The color scheme came from me, trying to do more than black and white, yet still keep things simple.

Yeah, the pallete is all Colden. I said “Gimme pirates!” and he went on for thirteen and a half minutes about two-color and limited range and complimentary colors and I came back and said “I want some pirates!”

Thanks for the shout. More pirates and pretty colors to come.

The colors are all Colden. I said “Gimme pirates!” and he went on about limited color palletes and two-color versus three-color and infinite canvas and I came back and said “I want some pirates!”

Thanks for the shout, guys. More pirates and pretty colors to come.

Ah, it must be gold-covered candy. That’s why Mr. Toothy don’t want it; he’s lost enough.

Kev, this is some of the best work I’ve seen from you. The two-tone palette really pops!

Very spare and mature; you both are growing up so FAST!!

I love this (Kevin, shame on you for being this good) and I can’t wait to see where it leads me.

Yes, what IS the bracelet if not gold?

Y’all can blame Colden for the colors. I said “Gimme pirates!” and he’s all two color versus four, limited pallette and infinite canvas and I’m like “I want some pirates!” So blame him. I know enough to stand back out of the way.

We might be starting off slow, folks, but the payoff is HUGE.

Kev, this is some of the best work I’ve seen you do. The two-tone palette is a welcome shock to the eyes, and it really pops.

I know what that bracelet is… gold-wrapped choc’late. That’s why Mr. Toothy ain’t havin’ none of it.

Nice creepy-quiet opener, you two!

Now that I seem to be able to post comments, I wanted to say that I am in for this, and can’t wait for it to really get rolling. (That’s not saying it’s slow, but rather that you’ve created a nice intro to whet the appetite…)
